The original MeisterSinger – but a different model nevertheless. With its 40-millimeter case diameter it is three millimeters smaller than the classic model in our collection.

However, developing this new version was not as easy as you might think. It is not enough to transfer all the characteristics of a successful model to a new, smaller design, as character cannot be simply scaled down. Each element needs to be re-balanced to suit the reduced space.

That’s why we are all the more pleased that the new, slim version has the same design qualities as the original – the functional typography with its complete set of double-digit hour numerals, the circumferential five-minute divisions and, above all, the single, needle-fine hour hand. Moreover, the N° 01 - 40 mm version is powered by the same Swiss-made, hand-wound movement as the larger model, the Sellita SW 210. It can be viewed through the sixfold screwed glass exhibition back.
