MyLunos Duo®: Versatile and Effective Prophylaxis Device

A Capable Device for All Scenarios

The MyLunos Duo® combines two essential treatment methods in prophylaxis sessions: powder spraying and ultrasound. This combined device offers flexibility and tailored applications ranging from supra- and subgingival calculus and concretion removal to stain and biofilm elimination. It provides comprehensive prophylaxis and periodontal treatment with a single device, ensuring optimal care tailored to each patient case.

Seamless Application

During a prophylaxis or periodontal session, the 'Supra' and 'Perio' functions allow you to switch seamlessly between supra- and subgingival powder applications. Two different Lunos® prophylaxis powders can be easily interchanged. Additionally, you can switch from powder spraying (polishing) to ultrasound (Ultrasound) during treatment. Continuous airflow prevents clogging in the hose system, ensuring uninterrupted device operation.

Simple and Hygienic Interface

The MyLunos Duo® features a straightforward and hygienic interface, allowing for quick and intuitive control of all functions during treatment. Its flat surface makes the device easy and quick to disinfect. For cleaning, DÜRR DENTAL FD 322 premium wipes are recommended. Additionally, the ID 213 Instrument Disinfection cleans and disinfects all components of the device.

Flexible Water System

The MyLunos Duo® has a fixed water connection for both polishing and ultrasound applications, along with an additional detachable water tank with a 500 ml capacity for ultrasound use. The water temperature can be adjusted during treatment to ensure patient comfort.

360° Foot Pedal

All application functions are activated using a modern foot pedal. Its round shape and compact size allow ideal positioning on the floor and enable flexible usage from any direction.

Prophylaxis Powder: Gentle Clean and Perio Combi

Lunos® prophylaxis powders Gentle Clean and Perio Combi are ideal for powder-water spraying treatments. The innovative trehalose (disaccharide) component dissolves perfectly in water and offers a sweet aroma without damaging teeth. It leaves no powder residue in the mouth and protects oral mucosa. It also safeguards the suction system.

• Gentle Clean: Available in plain, mint, orange, and wild berry flavors.
• Perio Combi: Available in plain flavor.

Ultrasound Features

Scaler Instruments

The MyLunos Duo® includes a wide range of scaler instruments, ensuring solutions for various treatment scenarios. Instruments are made of medical-grade stainless steel, while the IC1 scaler tip for implant cleaning is made of 100% PEEK (a high-tech plastic material). All instruments and attachments are sterilizable and reusable.

Torque Wrench

Each instrument comes with its torque wrench, allowing direct and secure attachment to the scaler handpiece. The torque wrench is fully sterilizable.
