The timeless design that graces this pillow, Floral Study III is adapted from exquisite antique botanical illustrations by naturalist Mark Catesby. In 1767, Catesby printed a book of illustrated collections of “curious trees and shrubs”, the produce of North America. Naturalists of the time created artwork to capture the new flora and fauna. This rare and exquisite book resides in the collections of The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Floral Study III has many lovely shades of green. Large leaves hug beautiful white and off white hydrangeas.
