An excellent original admission ticket for the June 8, 1875 service at Bow Road Hall during one of the most significant revivals of the 19th century, i.e. the 1874-1875 revival under D. L. Moody and Ira D. Sankey in London. 

The services attracted 2.5 million hearers, leading one New York newspaper to report that "everybody in England has gone mad."

"Messrs. Moody & Sankey, Bow Road Hall. Last Day in This Hall, Tuesday, June 8th. Admit Bearer to Gospel Address by Mr. Moody, and Singing by Mr. Sankey, At 3.30 p.m. no Charge is Made for this Ticket."
