Green Barley has been a staple food of human populations since at least 7,000 B.C. In Japan, the young grass is one of several traditional green foods that are considered to be energising and anti-ageing. It is a good natural alkaliser, and may also aid digestion and detoxification. Green Barley contains over 70 nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes including Super-Oxide Dismutase (S.O.D.); a powerful free radical scavenger. In addition, Green Barley grass provides high levels of Chlorophyll and important antioxidant substances called flavonoids. Of particular interest to researchers is the flavonoid 2’’ -0- GIV – shown in research to be a more potent antioxidant than vitamin E. Many of the nutrients in Green Barley are destroyed by heat or acidity, so in order to capture and protect the delicate nutrients and enzymes in freshly harvested young barley grass, Green Magma is manufactured using a unique extraction and spray-dry process.

Juice from organically grown young barley grass leaves (60%), organic maltodextrin (a complex carbohydrate - 35%), organic brown rice.

For adults and children from the age 16+: Mix 1 teaspoon of Green Magma powder into a glass (approx. 160ml) of water or non-acidic fruit juice. Drink 20 minutes before or 2 hours after a meal for best absorption. Do not mix with hot drinks as heat can damage the active enzymes in Green Magma. Due to the detoxifying effects of Green Magma, we recommend starting with ½ teaspoon (approx 1.5g) per day. Increase the dose by ½ teaspoon each week until a dose of 1 full teaspoon per day is reached. The maximum dose is 5 full teaspoons per day, and the preventative dose is ½ teaspoon of powder per day.
