KERR DENTAL Tab 2000
Chemical-Curing Acrylic Material for Temporary Crowns, Bridges, and Splints
Pre-Procedure Impression:
Before the teeth intended for temporary crowns or bridges are cut, an alginate impression is taken to capture the shape of the area.
Mixing the Material:
An appropriate amount of TAB 2000 powder (available in three shades: light, medium, and yellow, depending on the tooth color) is mixed with liquid (available in both regular and fast-setting versions) for 20 to 30 seconds.
The ideal mixing ratio is 3 parts powder to 1 part liquid.
Filling the Impression:
Once the desired consistency is achieved, the mixed material is poured into the alginate impression.
Positioning and Setting:
The impression, filled with the material, is placed back into the patient’s mouth, where it remains for 2 minutes to allow the material to set.
Trimming Excess Material:
After removing the impression from the patient's mouth, any excess material is trimmed to refine the shape and ensure a perfect fit.
Polishing:
The temporary restoration is polished for a smooth, natural-looking finish.
Cementing the Restoration:
The temporary restoration is then cemented into place using Kerr Temp Bond or Temp Bond NE temporary cement to ensure it stays securely in place.
This temporary restoration solution ensures quick and reliable results for crowns, bridges, and splints. The system is easy to use, providing fast setting and customizable color matching to fit a variety of dental cases.
