It is a glass fiber reinforced, translucent polymer post in conical form used to support restorations and crowns. It has high fiber content. (80% glass fiber by weight) It has a modulus of elasticity close to dentin. It has a standard drill. Full adaptation to the channel is achieved without loss of material. The ends are inactive.
It eliminates the risk of deviation and root puncture. It is radio opaque, giving excellent radiographic images. The longitudinal arrangement of the fibers provides excellent structural strength against shear stress.
