Universal Stain and Glaze Series for Press, CAD, and Layered Porcelains

This universal stain and glaze series is designed to be compatible with Ivoclar's IPS ceramics and Wieland Dental's Zenostar materials. It is suitable for porcelain fired at both high and low temperatures and can be characterized and glazed in a CTE (Coefficient of Thermal Expansion) range of 9.5 to 16.6 x 10⁻⁶K⁻¹ (25-500 °C).

  • Essence/Shade with > 4% and ≤ 12% Pigment Content: Approximately 9.1 ± 0.5 x 10⁻⁶K⁻¹ (25-TG °C)
  • Essence/Shade with > 12% Pigment Content: Approximately 8.8 ± 0.5 x 10⁻⁶K⁻¹ (25-TG °C)
• Glass Transition Temperature (TG): Approximately 460 ± 20 °C
• Flexural Strength: ≥ 50 N/mm²
• Chemical Solubility: ≤ 100 µg/cm²
