What a wonderful family association copy of the classic memoir of Adolph Saphir. Not only is the volume itself, which is desirable, in a solid state of preservation, but it is given with the publisher's compliments to Leila Maturin, neice of Adolph Saphir. 

Then, neatly affixed to the blank ffep, is an original CDV of Adolph Saphir issued by Elliott and Fry. Below that are two CDVs of Sarah Saphir. Also includes some marginal notes throughout adding information on the Saphir family.
