For our first upcycled collection we curated gorgeous vintage textiles to create one of a kind naturally dyed jackets. When designed and sourcing we decided to bring dramatic textures to our line and chenille is the perfect fit-along with the fact that we have had a lifelong obsession with the textile. 

Chenille was invented in the 18th century in France and is created by looping yarn and pulling it back through a flat cotton fabric giving it a "rug like" feel. Each piece that we sourced is completely unique in pattern and even the style/technique-some are a hobnail and others have a shaggier pile. Most of the fabrics we sourced have floral motifs that embody our vision of floral transformation.
