The perfect antique gold-filled layer... we love T-bar necklaces- especially this one that has a tiny hunting dog on both sides of the original Victorian link! Often called ' Albert chains,' named after a style of pocket watch chain Prince Albert wore and popularized in the Victorian Era (19th century). Traditionally this style of watch chain has a bar on one end and a Spring ring clasp, used to secure the chain to a vest buttonhole on one end and pocket watch on the other. Since watch chains are typically 12-13", we combined two unique, original gold-filled chains to create this piece, which measures 15" with a 1.5" long bar. Original Spring ring clasp and ornate dog-fob. We've added a tiny clasp in the back to make it easier to put on and off.
