For listeners who prefer a more conventional aesthetic but crave the performance of an 800 Series Diamond Loudspeaker, the 804 D4 is a perfect choice. Its new reverse-wrap cabinet follows the proven design principles established by its larger siblings

When it came to designing the ideal shape for the 800 Series Diamond cabinet, B&W did a U-turn quite literally. The cabinets are formed from one continuous
curve, backed by a spine of solid aluminum, so the sound dispersion is improved and cabinet reflection is reduced.

A great speaker needs a rock-solid foundation. The new 804D4 uses a downwards firing Flowport exiting onto s solid aluminum plinth complete with a steel constrained steel damping sheet, which controls unwanted resonance. It also has greatly upgraded spikes for maximum stability.
