The G2 Street Throttle Tamer Tube creates a non-linear ratio of throttle rotation and throttle body opening. When the rider rotates the grip, a pulley or cam pulls on the throttle cable. Modifications to the traditional circular cam greatly improve control and significantly reduce throttle snatch. The throttle tamer tube contains a cam with a reduced radius from throttle "off" to approx. 1/2. A little rotation is required to reach the same throttle position as the stock throttle. This virtually eliminates the jerky "throttle snatch" common on fuel-injected street bikes. The radius increases or rises after ½ throttle to maintain the overall rotation needed to reach full throttle at or near the stock rotation. Other of his g2ergo cams are also available. Machined in the USA from 6061 aluminum. Self-lubricating Delrin bushings on each end of the tube eliminate aluminum-to-aluminum contact and provide an extremely smooth feel.
