The Breaking Series Cabinet by Tiwu Works, designed by Yun Zhao, is defined by a rectilinear volume that appears to fracture gently across its surface, creating a controlled visual interruption within an otherwise restrained form. Branched wooden joints complete the piece, embellishing this visual break with organic appeal. The entire piece is crafted from Red Oak with a Black Water painted finish, its planar geometry is articulated through precise cuts and subtle shifts in alignment, allowing light and shadow to emphasize the cabinet’s dimensional depth. Behind this composed exterior, practical storage is integrated seamlessly.
